The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway is a 5-mile heritage railway running through the beautiful Worth Valley from Keighley to Oxenhope in West Yorkshire. The railway is world-famous as the filming location for the classic 1970 film “The Railway Children” and continues to celebrate this heritage.

The line serves 6 stations including Haworth, home to the Brontë Parsonage Museum, making it a perfect day out combining railway heritage with literary history. The railway climbs 200 feet through the valley, offering stunning views of the Pennine hills and classic West Yorkshire mill villages.

With an extensive fleet of vintage locomotives and carriages, the KWVR runs regular steam services and hosts numerous special events throughout the year including Railway Children events, vintage transport weekends, and Santa specials.
